Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Legs Upper (Both).

Most clients need 6–8 sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart to catch hairs in different growth cycles. Results depend on hair color, density, and skin type; occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended after the initial series.

Laser sensation varies; you may feel quick warm snaps like rubber-band snaps. We use cooling systems and can offer topical numbing to improve comfort, making treatment tolerable for most clients.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least two weeks prior and stop waxing or plucking six weeks before treatment. Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment; disclose medications and medical history at consultation.

Upper legs (both) sessions generally take about 20–35 minutes depending on hair density and machine settings. Expect extra time for consultation, skin prep, and post-care instructions during your first visit.

Ideal candidates have darker, coarse hair and are in good general health. Modern lasers also treat many skin tones, but certain medications, pregnancy, or active skin conditions may make you ineligible; schedule a consult to confirm.

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, and mild follicle sensitivity that resolve within days. Rarely, pigment changes or blistering can occur. Follow aftercare—cooling, gentle cleansers, sunscreen—and contact us if unusual symptoms persist.
