Get answers to common questions about Chin.
Most clients require about six to eight sessions, scheduled every four to six weeks. Darker, coarser hair typically responds faster, while hormonal hair may need extra sessions. Occasional maintenance treatments yearly are common for long-term control.
Sensation varies but is usually described as a quick stinging or rubber-band snap. We offer cooling and topical numbing to minimize discomfort. Treatments are brief and tolerable for most clients.
Lasers target pigment in the hair shaft, so dark coarse hairs respond best. Fine, light-colored peach fuzz can be less responsive and may need more sessions or alternative methods for optimal removal.
There is minimal downtime. You may experience brief redness or mild swelling that resolves within hours to a couple days. Avoid sun exposure and follow post-care instructions for best healing and results.
Do not wax, tweeze, or use depilatories for at least four weeks before treatment. Shave the chin 24 hours before your appointment and avoid tanning, exfoliants, and certain medications as advised.
Laser treatments provide long-lasting hair reduction, significantly decreasing chin hair for most people. While many achieve years of smoothness, hormonal changes or new growth can cause some regrowth. Periodic maintenance sessions—usually annually—help maintain results long-term.
