Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Arms (upper left).

Most clients require 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart to see significant permanent reduction. Hair type, color, and growth cycle affect results. We assess during consultation and customize a treatment plan to reach optimal reduction for the upper left arm.

Most clients report mild discomfort described as snapping or heat during pulses. We use cooling technology and can apply topical numbing to minimize sensation. Pain varies by individual and location, but treatments are generally well tolerated and brief.

Temporary redness, swelling, or mild sensitivity are common and usually resolve within a few hours to a few days. Rarely, pigmentation changes can occur. Follow post-care instructions—sun avoidance and gentle skincare—to reduce risks and promote healing.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks. Shave the area 24 hours before treatment, discontinue irritating skincare or retinoids as advised, and arrive with clean, lotion-free skin for best results.

Lasers target pigment, so coarse, darker hairs respond best. Light or fine hair may require more sessions or alternative treatments. Our technicians evaluate hair and skin tone during consultation and recommend the most effective approach, including combined methods if needed.

Noticeable thinning often appears after the first two to three sessions, with progressive reduction over the full series. Optimal smoothing and long-term reduction typically reveal after multiple treatments spaced according to hair growth cycles.
