A complimentary Laser HR Consultation is a focused, no-obligation meeting where we assess your skin and hair, review the specific areas you want treated, and discuss your goals. In about 30 MINUTES we explain the process, typical sensations, and the general course of treatment so you can decide with clear information and no pressure.
During the visit we document relevant history — past hair removal methods, recent sun exposure, and any skin sensitivities — and answer questions about scheduling and comfort. This assessment helps identify factors that influence results and safety, so the conversation is practical, personalized, and designed to set realistic expectations.
How we tailor a plan
Results and scheduling depend on your hair type, skin characteristics, and goals. Your technician will outline a likely session cadence and explain why multiple visits are typical. Most plans use repeated treatments over time because hair grows in cycles; your bespoke plan will reflect that biological timing and your availability.
We also factor in your lifestyle—students commuting to UGA, working professionals, or families need different appointment patterns—so we recommend timing and session lengths that fit evenings, weekends, and short local commutes. The plan we draft during consultation balances convenience with what’s appropriate for your skin and hair.
Preparing and aftercare basics
Before treatment we advise avoiding sun exposure, waxing, and tweezing; please shave the treatment area about 24 hours before an appointment when a session is scheduled. After a treatment, avoid strong sun, hot environments, and harsh topical products for roughly 48 hours. These steps reduce risk and help the skin respond as expected.
Comfort and safety are reviewed during the consultation. Many clients describe treatment sensations as a quick snap or mild warmth; numbing creams or cooling methods can be discussed to increase comfort. We will also assess whether specific precautions are needed based on skin type and recent sun exposure, especially in Athens’ sunny, humid seasons.
