Before your 30-minute facial consult: 6 things that save time

• Bring a list (or photos) of your skincare products. Cleanser, moisturizer, SPF, toner, acne products, anything “active.” If you’re using something regularly, we want to see it.
• Bring your meds and recent treatments. Especially acne meds, prescription topicals, and anything you’ve done recently like laser, injectables, or a peel.
• Come with a clean face or light makeup you can remove. We can still consult if you’re wearing makeup, but a bare face helps us see texture, congestion, and irritation more clearly.
• Pause harsh actives for 48 to 72 hours. We generally recommend holding retinoids and strong chemical exfoliants right before your consult. It prevents extra dryness or sensitivity that can mask what your skin is really doing.
• Skip the sunburn and fresh tan. If your skin is sunburned or freshly tanned, tell us. In Athens summers, this matters a lot because sun-stressed skin can react differently.
